The Alpha 9.5 from horntools offers 4.3 tons of pulling capacity and is one of the most versatile vehicle winches in the range. Thanks to its compact design and comparatively low dead weight, it is ideal for pick-ups and off-road vehicles such as the Ford Ranger, Land Rover Defender or Mitsubishi L200.

Versatile winch for pick-up and off-road vehicles

The Alpha 9.5 is designed for recoveries, off-road use and various pulling tasks around your vehicle. With 4.3 tons of pulling capacity, it offers ample power reserves for numerous off-road vehicles and pick-ups.

Thanks to its compact design and detachable control unit, the winch can be flexibly integrated into different vehicle concepts.

Can flexibly be used as a front or rear winch

Depending on the vehicle and setup, the Alpha 9.5 can be used in different positions.

Typical applications are:

• Self-recovery of off-road vehicles and pick-ups
• Use as a front winch
• Concealed installation behind the front of the vehicle
• Mounting on a suitable bumper
• Use as a rear winch
• Mounting on a suitable carrier on the tow hitch
• Integration on the loading area of a pick-up
• Recovery and pulling tasks during off-road and work operations

For certain mobile or rear-mounted applications, the version with synthetic rope is required.

4.3 tons of pulling capacity in a compact design

The Alpha 9.5 combines high pulling capacity with a compact construction. The IP67-sealed motor is designed for demanding operating conditions, while the reinforced rope drum and the internal drum brake with three brake shoes ensure a robust build.

The control unit can be detached and flexibly positioned on the vehicle. In addition to the included corded remote control, the Alpha 9.5 can also be expanded with a wireless remote control.
