Electric winch OCTA 3.6 tons: premium winch for off-road and overlanding
The horntools OCTA with 3.6 tons of pulling force is the new premium winch for everyone who refuses to compromise when it comes to self-recovery. As part of the new premium series, it complements the existing horntools winch range with a modern design, a faster motor and high-quality equipment, developed by a manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in electric winches.
Fast motor for quick recoveries
At the heart of the OCTA works a faster motor that noticeably speeds up spooling the rope in and out. With 3.6 tons of pulling force, the winch is suitable for SUVs, pickups and off-road vehicles. As a rule of thumb, the pulling force should be around 1.5 times the gross vehicle weight.
Synthetic winch rope and premium hook
The OCTA comes as standard with a premium synthetic winch rope. Compared to a steel cable, it is lighter, more supple to handle and free of sharp wire strands. The included black premium winch hook is both functional and a design accent.
IP68 waterproof and black powder-coated
Water crossings, continuous rain or mud: the OCTA is IP68 waterproof and therefore ready for use even under the toughest conditions. The black powder coating underlines the modern design of the new premium series and gives it a powerful presence on the vehicle.
Flexible thanks to a removable control unit
The control unit can be removed and mounted on the side of the winch. This allows flexible installation on the vehicle, depending on your needs and the space available.
